About Anna
It’s lovely to meet you. I am Anna Vahrman, a hypnotherapist based in West Dorset. It’s my absolute pleasure to help clients just like yourself, using safe, effective, and gentle methods.
I strongly believe that we all have the innate ability to live an empowered life, in spite of past circumstances.
What this means is completely individual. Perhaps it’s coming to terms with the past and no longer letting it rule your life. For some it could be breaking free of a phobia that is taking enjoyment away from every day activities. And for others it could mean managing stress and anxiety, popping up when you least expect or need them.
Sometimes it can feel as though you’re stuck, disconnected from your in-built skills. My goal is to help get you back in touch with them, helping you get to where you want to be.
Prior to training as a hypnotherapist and moving to West Dorset, I worked in the film and tv industry for many years.
I had a love/hate relationship with the high-stress environment, and I saw first hand the impact of badly managed stress. Although I loved my job, I knew my final career would be one that involved working with people on a more personal level. I have spent my share of time in the client’s chair, and I find hypnotherapy fascinating and powerful from the perspective of both client and practitioner. We all have our own journey, and I approach sessions from a place of no judgement and with an open mind.
